James Dunning, CEO, Syrinix, on behalf of SWAN forum is today chairing a Smart Water session, at European Utility week. The event in Amsterdam is Europe’s largest smart utility conference displaying the latest technologies and industry developments.

The session titled, ‘Is big data high value for the water sector?’ and provides an opportunity for the panel and delegates to discuss various topics surrounding the use of data within the industry including the return on investment and the un-tapped opportunities for data management and improvements that data could possibly provide utilities.

During the session, James will be also be presenting ‘A Data explosion!’ covering issues such as when and how to use the available data to aid the decision making process and managing the challenges of data overload. To conclude the presentation James is sharing a case study on TransientMinder, a pressure transient detection and reporting solution provided by Syrinix.
