Syrinix, the award-winning intelligent pipeline monitoring solutions company, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Chris Banks as a Non-Executive Director.
For 12 years until 2014, Chris Banks was an Executive Director of Scottish Water, the UK’s fourth largest regulated water utility, where his responsibilities included procurement, supply chain management and business development.
Since leaving Scottish Water, Chris has remained active in the UK and European water utility sectors advising Boards and senior management teams on a range of matters including contracting structures, technology adoption and strategy within regulated environments.
Discussing Chris Banks’ appointment, James Dunning, Syrinix’s Chief Executive, said “I am delighted to have Chris join the Syrinix Board as a Non-Executive Director. Utilities around the world are increasingly looking towards innovative and effective solutions to meet their challenges. Chris’ background, including his experience from the utility-side of how to secure technology adoption and broader roll-outs, will undoubtedly be invaluable as we continue our growth across the UK and internationally.”
Chris Banks commented “I have been following Syrinix’s strong progress with interest for some time. For sure the water sector can be challenging on occasion but for companies like Syrinix, ones with the right strategy and solutions, it is also hugely exciting with terrific opportunities. I am certainly looking forward to working with the Syrinix team and supporting the delivery of the company’s ambitious plans”.
