About Us Syrinix is a spin-out company from the University of East Anglia in Norwich. Following almost ten years of research and consultancy in the field of water leak detection and location, Syrinix Limited was created to exploit this expertise. Syrinix believes that it has the most sophisticated and most sensitive leak detection algorithms available. Our world-class signal processing allows us to offer products like TrunkMinder. Trunk water mains are very large pipes that typically transport huge volumes of water to where it's needed. A failure of this sort of main is rare, but when it does occur the results are spectacular and very expensive. This is especially true if the pipe is sited near other valuable infrastructure assets; underground railway stations, hospitals, power distribution stations and so on. Syrinix develops and deploys systems that detect the start of the process that leads to the pipe failing thereby giving the operating company time to repair the pipe before catastrophic failure. The TrunkMinder system comprises electronic detection systems deployed on the pipe, remote monitoring systems and sophisticated data analysis tools.
