With more than 20 years experience in the utility sector, James joined Syrinix as CEO in 2010. Formerly a City lawyer and a graduate of the London Business School, James has significant experience in senior positions in the corporate utility sphere, as well as in successfully leading smaller utility-related businesses through significant growth.
At Syrinix, James is driving the business’s growth in terms of continued R&D excellence and accelerating international sales.
Paul is a leading specialist in signal processing technology who has specialised for many years in water leakage. An electronic engineer, Paul worked initially in the defence industry before studying for his PhD at the University of East Anglia in Norwich (UEA). Subsequently he applied signal processing techniques to leak detection in water mains.
After acting as a consultant for Thames Water, Paul formed Syrinix in 2004 as a university spinout company.
Mike is a Chartered Manager, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a qualified Electronics engineer with over 35 years’ experience in high reliability electronics engineering and manufacturing in the Industrial, Military, Aerospace and Automotive sectors with major companies in the UK and internationally.
Mike also has considerable experience working with private equity companies on acquisitions and disposals.
A Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and Member of the CBI’s President Committee, Adrian became Chairman of Syrinix in 2017. Adrian held senior roles at London Electricity before moving to CEO of Interserve plc where he led the company’s growth to 80,000 employees and sales of £3.2bn.
Kevin joined Turquoise in 2008. He is responsible for coordinating activities relating to the Low Carbon Innovation Fund, in addition to being one of its investment managers and board representatives for portfolio companies including iSotera, TeraView, Syrinix and AMIHO.
Marek retired as Chairman of Candover/Arle Capital partners at the end of 2011. He was a founder member of 24 Haymarket a group which comprises 60 former senior private equity executives/Chairman/CEO’s and Investment bankers who actively support small start-up businesses with their own funds.
Chris spent 12 years as Executive Director of Scottish Water. Since leaving in 2014 Chris has remained active in the UK and European water utility sectors advising Boards and senior management teams on a range of matters including contracting structures, technology adoption and strategy within regulated environments.
